Description
This human flight experience is a tandem skydive which is the quickest and easiest way to experience free fall! While attached to a highly qualified tandem instructor you will jump from around 13,000 feet and plummet towards the ground at nearly 120mph! When your parachute is deployed you will enjoy the aerial views as you safely and gently float back to the ground.
Includes:
- Training of how the tandem parachute equipment works, how you will be attached to your tandem instructor, how to position your body during aircraft exit and during free fall, and what to expect during the canopy ride and the landing process.
- Flight gear includes a jumpsuit, hat, goggles, and your harness to securely attach to your instructor.
- Jump altitude of between 10,000 – 15,000 feet depending on the weather and air traffic clearance.
- You may even get the chance to take control and fly the canopy back to the landing area!
Typical Duration:
- Training takes approximately 30-45 minutes
- Climb to altitude is approximately 15 minutes
- Free fall is approximately 45 seconds
- Canopy flight is approximately 3 minutes
- Due to unpredictable conditions, you should plan to be at the drop zone all day.
Important Notes:
- There is no upper age limit and you can start tandem skydiving as young as 16 years old!
- You will need to sign medical and liability waiver prior to skydiving.
- The jump altitude varies from centre to centre and will depend on aircraft type, weather conditions and air traffic clearance on the day.
- Wear warm, loose, comfortable clothes and trainers with no hooks.
- Your tandem skydive can be captured using video and additional cost vary from centre to centre.
- There is a maximum weight limit which varies from centre to centre. Please note that your weight also needs to be in proportion to your height.
- Skydiving is a weather dependant sport and there can often be delays waiting for suitable conditions to be suitable.
