At NexAvian, 2018-19 was a year of momentum, filled with exciting new partnerships and global outreach that strengthened our presence across the emerging Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ecosystem. Our commitment to supporting innovators in personal air vehicles—whether for recreation or next-gen transportation—has taken us around the world to build lasting relationships and contribute to this aviation revolution.

🌏 Japan: Innovation Meets Culture

Our journey through Japan was both enriching and productive. We connected with promising startups like teTra, one of the top 10 teams from Boeing’s GoFly Prize, and explored synergies with several urban air mobility and recreational aviation pioneers. NexAvian forged six new partnerships with flight experience providers across skydiving, paragliding, and indoor flying. Japan’s passion for aviation, coupled with their engineering excellence, made this leg of our trip unforgettable.

🌏 Korea: Expanding the Flight Network

In South Korea, despite its tightly controlled airspace, we succeeded in growing our network of human flight experiences. We partnered with Fly High Paragliding School and began discussions with local indoor skydiving centers. NexAvian also connected with teams of the GoFly competition, engaging in meaningful exchanges around prototyping challenges in the personal flight arena.

🌏 Taiwan: Partnering for Hybrid Flight Innovation

In Taiwan, NexAvian expanded its network through a new partnership with HFV, a local team pushing the boundaries of personal air vehicles (PAVs) using innovative hybrid-electric propulsion solutions. Despite a developing regulatory landscape, Taiwan’s vibrant engineering community and forward-thinking vision for AAM have created fertile ground for next-gen flight. Our collaboration with HFV highlights Taiwan’s growing ambition in the human flight space—balancing energy efficiency, safety, and urban integration. We look forward to supporting HFV as they bring their hybrid PAV concept from prototype to performance.

🌏 Thailand: Bridging Rotary Aircraft Experience with eVTOLs

In Thailand, NexAvian’s founder partnered with established helicopter operator Thai Aviation Services (TAS) to deepen industry knowledge in both conventional rotary-wing operations and emerging eVTOL technologies. This collaborations have been instrumental in aligning traditional aviation practices with the evolving needs of advanced air mobility. With Thailand positioned as a strategic gateway to Southeast Asia, NexAvian continues to focus on regional opportunities, leveraging local partnerships to support infrastructure planning, operations training, and community readiness for future flight.

🌐 A Global Push for Human Flight

Beyond specific countries, NexAvian continued to engage with the global community of dreamers, engineers, and OEMs working on the future fleet. Thanks to organizations like the Vertical Flight Society, we stayed up to date on the latest developments and expanded our knowledge base to better advise our clients and connect them with the right technologies and flight applications.

Our mission remains the same: “We want to fly, help others fly, and be part of the next evolution of human flight in any way imaginable.”

We’re proud of the partnerships we’ve built in 2018 & 2019 and are excited to keep pushing boundaries in this rapidly advancing field.
