At NexAvian, we believe that the evolution of human flight depends not just on innovation, but on collaboration. In 2019-2020, our commitment to fostering a strong Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) community led us to participate in global forums, join professional organizations, and support the very people designing tomorrow’s sky.

Here’s how we helped shape the AAM ecosystem:

🏆 Supporting the GoFly Prize – Making People Fly

As one of the most exciting international competitions in recent years, the Boeing GoFly Prize challenged innovators to develop safe, compact, personal flying devices. With $2 million at stake, the competition inspired a new generation of engineers and dreamers.

NexAvian proudly joined the GoFly community as a mentor and supporter, offering guidance to several teams and helping shape the early-stage development of their flying concepts. The energy and vision behind GoFly aligns perfectly with our mission to “help others fly,” and we remain inspired by the breakthroughs this initiative continues to generate.

🛩 Vertical Flight Society (VFS) – Leading the eVTOL Conversation

Since 2018, NexAvian has been an active member of the Vertical Flight Society, the leading voice for vertical lift innovation. From eVTOL development to policy discussions and market forecasting, VFS has been instrumental in advancing our industry.

As a key resource for technical publications, industry events, and news aggregation, the VFS platform has empowered NexAvian to stay informed and connected to top-tier professionals worldwide. Their efforts have supported both our consulting activities and our curated flyer marketplace by helping us monitor which manufacturers are making meaningful progress toward certification and deployment.

🌐 Conferences & Collaborations – Expanding the Dialogue

Our participation in global events such as the Future of Transportation World Conference provided valuable opportunities to engage with OEMs, urban planners, airspace regulators, and tech developers. These events reinforced one key idea: collaboration is essential.

We continue to advocate for a fully integrated AAM ecosystem where stakeholders—from city authorities to flight instructors—can co-create the infrastructure, regulatory framework, and passenger experience that will define this new era of mobility.

💡 Looking Ahead

The AAM community is growing rapidly, and we’re proud to be part of it. Whether through mentoring, industry participation, or operator partnerships, NexAvian is committed to accelerating the dream of personal flight—making it safer, more accessible, and more exciting for everyone.

Let’s fly forward together.
