NEXAVIAN FLIGHT BRIEF

VERTIPORT READINESS

Brief ID:    NEX-2310
Date:         01-MAY-25

🗺 FLIGHT PLAN

Purpose:
To help AAM stakeholders understand the critical role of vertiports in the successful rollout of eVTOL operations, and to support strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, and infrastructure design from concept to launch.

What it is?
A vertiport is a ground-based facility designed to enable the take-off, landing, charging, and passenger handling of electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Similar to a heliport for helicopters or terminal for trains, vertiports are the essential nodes in the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) network.
Vertiports may range in size and complexity—from a single rooftop landing pad to multi-bay mobility hubs integrated with other transport modes

⛈ ATIS - ADVISORY

  • The first generation of vertiports will likely serve demonstration or point-to-point operations, not high-volume hubs.
  • Public-private partnership models are becoming popular for long-term infrastructure deployment.
  • Ground risk, power redundancy, and weather resilience are as important as airspace planning.
  • eVTOL turnaround time and vehicle throughput will determine financial sustainability.

📍FLIGHT ROUTE

➡️Departure Point — Why Vertiports Matter
Vertiports are the physical infrastructure hubs that connect the air and ground within the AAM ecosystem. They are not “just helipads”—they represent the interface where regulatory compliance, user experience, operations, and business viability converge.

➡️Waypoint 1 — Stakeholder Coordination
Are your stakeholders aligned?
Coordination among airport authorities, real estate owners, regulators, OEMs, utilities, and municipalities is critical to avoid siloed development.

➡️Waypoint 2 — Site & Airspace Selection
Have you identified optimal locations for community impact, demand, and operational safety?
Considerations include noise footprints, ground access, zoning, and integration with existing heliports or transport hubs.

➡️Waypoint 3 — User Experience Design
What should the passenger journey feel like—from check-in to boarding?
Designs must balance function and comfort, integrating seamless security, boarding, and service areas akin to mini-airports.

➡️Waypoint 4 — Safety & Compliance
Have you mapped regulatory pathways for both ground and air integration?
Standards are evolving. NexAvian helps you stay compliant with global and local airspace authorities, including UAM-specific rules.

👩‍✈️CREW NOTES

NexAvian Insights
“Vertiports are the gateway to public trust in AAM. A well-designed vertiport isn’t just compliant—it tells a story. It anchors a new mobility experience in the daily life of a city. At NexAvian, we help convert vision into blueprint by mapping operational, regulatory, and design readiness into a coordinated launch path.”

🛠 PRE-FLIGHT CHECK

✅ Have you identified your target market and launch strategy?

✅ Is your vertiport part of a larger ecosystem or a standalone hub?

✅ Are safety, certification, and regulatory touchpoints clearly mapped?

✅ Is your infrastructure team aware of current eVTOL OEMs and their needs?

✅ Is your project focused on real-world readiness or still in feasibility?
